Obtaining a Massachusetts apostille involves the process that verifies your document is a true copy of the original and verifies the identity of the Massachusetts Notary Agent. This process is recognized and agreed upon by the countries that are members of the Hague Convention of 1961. If your document destination country is not a member, then you must follow the legalization process of authenticating your documents.
Documents originating from the State of Massachusetts are processed directly from the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s office. Please note that your documents will receive an Apostille from the State of Massachusetts in accordance with their guidance and subject to their acceptance of the application.
